had this vibrating noise since i got my 700..it did this when the engine was reving higher,,,i found the noise if anyone else has a noise like that,,,it was a clear plastic hose coming from the carb..the hose ran up and under the back of the gas tank, the hose has a plastic elbow on it and it was turned so it was hitting the plastic under the tank,,it made a hell of a rattle...
anybody else have this noise??,,if so check it out,,,take seat off and take foam piece out and the hose is right there...

Mine had a similar nosie coming from the same area, though it was worse the LOWER the RPM. My noise was caused by the black vent tube that sits next to the intake tube. It would vibrate against the fuel tank. It was horribly annoying. I wedged some foam rubber between the tank and the tube and it went away (thank God!).
