325 Magnum 4x4
#11
Since I'm sure this has been discussed at length before, I'll just beat the dead horse all the way to death.
My 325 (a 2001) has a snorkle-thing on top of the airbox about 4-5 inches long that goes up under the plastic that covers the tank. It has no baffles or filter foam or anything else around it. It looks like it's there just to get the point of air-intake up that much higher. Is that what you removed? Did they do something else to the 02 models?
I can see $20. $40 from the local parts place seemed a little high.
Thanks for all your help. I've learned a lot reading around here.

I used to own the 325 4x4, and I can honestly say is was a fine machine. It did everthing I asked of if exceptjump. Power was not really an issue for me either, when I bought it it fit the bill perfectly, and never had a problem with it. I sold it last month for $4500 with the winch and bumper and other stuff.

Yes, it's a snorkle. I guess I called it a baffle. Common mistake I have made since working on a lot of WS-6's lately.
Remove that thing and you can still go seat deep in water. Plop in a K&N and you will have more bottom end for doing all kinds of hauling.
