mixing questions

i have a 98 trailblazer 250 with a HSP pipe, Hypershift clutch kit, bored .020 over and a bunch of other odds and end mods (handlebars,ETC) any ways, i plan on putting a oil injection block off kit in it cause i plan on racing this year (once i get some more stuff done) and i want to know can i run Amsoil in it and will it still run good? what do i mix it? 40:1 ? 50:1 ? thanks for info

Plain old Polaris blue non-synthetic mixed at 40:1.

98trailblazer,

I run Amsoil in my Sport @ 80 : 1. Yes it does get enough lubrication as it still smokes, but it burns VERY clean. Don't count on checking your spark plug to determine if you have the correct mixture, the oil burns THAT clean! It is important that you get the 100:1 pre mix oil. The injector stuff won't work at high gas to oil ratios like 80-100:1. Should you decide to try regular oil, always mix it at 40:1.
