I just bought a 700. Pretty sure mine has it but haven't looked yet. I know if you do have it, when you run the diagnostic mode on the LCD display it will give you your oil pressure. When you get the atv, the diag mode is turned off from the factory. I'll have to turn mine on to see. Other wise I believe it is mounted above the temp sensor.

MT, I bought a spruce green 700. traded my 99 sp500 that had 1500 miles on it. Gave him $3000 and my atv. Was going to get spruce green 500 but for only $400 more I got the 700.
When you are running your atv push and release the reverse override button 1X. This is how you set your trip meter and check your hour meter. Every time you push the button it will go to another function. You will notice that the diag mode is turned off at the factory. This is when you see the wrench icon. You will find in your manual that you can turn this mode on. This will allow you to read your battery voltage, RPM and oil pressure if you have the oil pressure sensor. Earlier models do not have this. Also you can set a hour meter to let you know when you need the oil changed. Example, if you want to change the oil after the first 20 hrs. You can set it so the wrench icon will display and flash after 20 hrs. If you are like me and don't carry a watch and your old lady tells you to be back from riding in a couple hours you could set the icon that way.

OK here's what up. I been looking and i have never found one. But it is on the diagnostic screen. To locate if you have one locate the thermistate housing, 6 inches below it and just behind the clutch cover there will be a sensor with wire coming out of it otherwise there their will be a allen bolt. that means that you don't have one. Pretty dumb and deceving. you think you are watching your engine and relly you r not. polaris should put them on it=f they have a light.
You can also test by having the machine in Nutral and press the override button while turning on the engine it will show volts, rpm, and oil (02,03 models) pressure if the line points up to the box, you dont have the pressure switch. I installed a pressure guage where that allen bolt is.
my oil pressure is low so i need to install a new or heaver oil pressure spring
