i just rebuilt my 97 scram 400 and i swapped out my lower end and blocks due to my old one had a small crack and i took all my electrical and put it on the good block and i started it today and it was firing unevenly for example wing...wingwing...wing..wing.....wing and it wouldnt rev up or nothin is it out of timing? any help is appreciated

Sounds like the reverse rev limiter is engaged....check your wiring.

well i think i narrowed it down to the flywheel mine broke and had no magnets left intact so i bought one from a cycle shop here in town all the numbers matched up except one and i took it back today and we ran the number and it said it was off a 96 sportsman 400 could that be why?
it also had 6 magnets instead of 4
