Yes, the 628 was wearing the rider out too quickly. Of course, he only weighs 125 pounds! Todd Ribblett weighs a bit more and is able to handle the 600 quite well. As far as answering questions about my motors that's not allowed on the forums - it's called advertising. If you need to, you can call me at Four Stroke Tech.

Mike,
Did you ever have the chance to work with Mickey on the clutching?

I don't believe Mike ever did go work with my rider, Todd Ribblett, but Todd did go back and try the roller clutch system and everyone's suggested clutch setups and stock worked the best. Four strokes are different than the 2-strokes and where we build our power at is totally different.

Mickey,
So are you developing anything for the Predator? Maybe a 700

Nothing for the 700 - didn't really care for the motor design. The Predator should be here next week - magazine article to follow shortly.

ScramblerX,

I did get a hold of Todd and talked to him this past summer. Really nice guy! Unfortunately my work schedule was kind of screwy this summer. We just couldn't get together to ride.

Mickey,

Well there goes the V-Force 700 for me. I was kind of counting on you producing a 1000cc kit for it, or something

Sorry I haven't been on here lately guys. Like Mickey I have many oars in the water at one time. Right now it's a Labor union thing.

Mike,

My reply was referring to the 700 Polaris motor. We already have kits for the V-Force because it's the same motor as the Prairie except that it has bigger valves and a bigger bore.

mickey, i ride a all stock 500 scrambler and love it. but i've been waiting to get into some herescramble races with it and i don't really know what to do with it from stock. but the first thing i really whata do to it is make it lighter for jumps and was thinking about puting hsp fox shocks up front and then puting hsp spring all round. would this be the best way to go for suspension ?but mosty i just what to mke it lighter and better handleing. i have already ordered hsp nerf bars but im still waiting on the factory to ship them out. what else is there to do to make it lighter? i was wouldering how much better would ur 600cc kit do how much hp would it have then? how much is the 600cc kit? also i can't deside on what kind on pipe i what to put on it? well nice talking to u. sorry for takeing time out of ur busy working. i just whated to know about this stuff

The 628 big bore stroker combination is $645 with you sending your crank in to be stroked. The 600 kit is $565 for the big bore stroker kit - same thing on the crank. There is no real way to get big weight off the Polaris. The hp that we get out of them makes them feel lighter because of the acceleration rate.
