Front Sprocket just about gone.....
#1
I was ridding yesterday and this loud clacking noise started. I stopped to check and the teeth on the front sprocket are almost all the way gone. There is just enough left to move it slowly without slipping. THe Chain and rear are in perfect condition. I need a new front sprocket. Where can I get one?? I would like to drop one tooth if possible. The bike is still stock however. Sprocket size for the front is 11 stock. was thinking if I could change to a 10 it would increase my bottom end a little. Can anyone help me please. I need it fixed fast.

Try www.rockymountainatv.com They have sprockets about as reasonable as anyone, and on most machines, they have sizes available other than stock. If I remember right, the primary sprockets are like only $10 plus shipping. On top of that, they have a large selection of mods and accessories, as well.
Other places to try, if they don't carry the size sprocket you want would be rittercycle.com or your dealer. My dealer only keeps the stock sizes on hand, but can usually order you the one you want if it is available.

Hey guys I have another question???
I talked to some people and they told me adding 1 tooth to the front will increase bottom end and dropping 1 tooth to the front will increase top end. So, should I add or take away 1 tooth to get a little more bottom end power????
Stock gearing is 11 / 42 so dropping 1 tooth will amount to 10/42(38 if you go by -1 front = to -4 at the rear) and adding 1 tooth would be 12 / 42(or 46 in retrospect) Help me get just a little more bottom end for hills and such.
I only want to add or take away from the front 1 tooth and leave the back alone so my chain(brand new) will still fit fine.
What should I get 10 or 12 tooth for bottom end increase???

And in addition Rear does the Opposite
A bigger Rear will give you More Low End.
A Smaller Rear will give you More Top End if you have the power to pull it.
One is Drive (FRONT) and One is Driven (REAR).
My suggestion is to make small gear changes because you can easily over or under gear your machine. One tooth make big differences
The Change on the front you described will make a big diference.
Stock: 11 frt and 42 rear is a 3:81 to 1 gear ratio. Front gear turns 3 81/100 times to 1 revolution of rear.
New : 10 frt and 42 rear is a 4:20 to 1 gear ratio. Front gear turns 4 20/100 times to 1 revolution of rear.
I think you will notice abig difference in top end.
When I go to Silver Lake sand dunes I have to change the gearing on out Trailblazer.
Stock: 11 Frt and 38 rear is a 3:42 to 1 gear ratio
New :is 11 Frt and 42 rear is a 3:81 to 1 gear ratio.
This change give the bike better hill climbing ability but loss of top end. It is noticeable.

Before you mess with the gearing (You are already geared low stock)
I would invest in a RCR stage 1 kit. I hear this will give big power changes to the 325 trailboss.
I think you will be unhappy with a gear change. Try getting more power out of the Bike. If you call rick at RCR and tell him what you want he will make a clutch kit to fit your needs.
