I have one and its been fun so far. No problems at all with it and I have ridden it hard. It has a nice soft ride and climbs better then I ever expected. its also very stable. I have nothing to say but good things about it. The price is unbeatable. No other quad is even close to the price for a 300cc. I got mine for $3500 otd and could have gotten last years model(2001) for $3000 but thats here in idaho.

Although I have never riden a Trailboss, I have been told the Trailblazer is Faster and more powerfull.

They are very simular chassis but the Tralblazer has a 2 stroke 250 vs the 325 4 stroke. I was going to by a

01 trailboss but my dealer talked me into the 01 Trailblazer because it was CHEEPER AND seemed to have more

guts. The 2 stroke is also easier and has more potential for modifications. The Up side to the Trailboss, 4

strokes have more low end grunt for working, better durability, and in stock form are quieter.

Hey thanks, I was considering the trail blazer but i dont know about 2stroke, i like the pepy-ness of it, but how is it on gas, and long rides, i sure the motor wouldnt last for driving for like 1 hour stright at like 3/4 throttle would it? how is it for climbing how much does it smoke, how are they in mud? Thanks

It seams to do well on gas. We have been on some long rides, Our 350 Honda Fourtrax 4x4 went to reserve on a long trail ride and the Blazer never did. As far as Mud, It will be no worse than Trail Boss. If you plan to do much mudd then go 4x4.
I guess I am getting OLD and don't want to clean mud out of everything, I go around. Anyway, the smoke is not Noticeable except when cold, Once it is warm, again not much difference from the 4 stroke Trail Boss.

Yea but the trail blazer is a sport quad made for jumps and stuff like that. The trail boss is a utility quad made for trails and stuff. I want to get the Trail Boss 350 too, it seems like a great quad, does anyone know the top speed on this little ****?

Just picked up a TB325 for my girlfriend. Sounds like the price you have going is right in line.

I believe Polaris has a 250 In accessories or 150 cash back or special Finance offer. For whatever reason the Dealerships in IL tried to screw me out of those special offers and charge me a ton more for the unit.

I went to a dealer in MI that is a true volume dealership and they took great care of us.

I ride a Raptor so obviously the TB feels very underpowered to me because I'm use to the 660 and manual tranny. I don't think you can beat it for the price though!!!

I Love the TB though so far... It is very, very comfortable to sit on, handles excellent, the ride feels like a Cadillac, Brakes work great, Elec. Start, Can do a fine job for work or play.

I have two concerns or complaints so far...And maybe you other 02 TB owners can help answer these for me...

1) After about 2-3 hours of riding we are starting to notice a rubbing noise sounds belt related when we let off the throttle a little in turns and then give it throttle again...Maybe Normal??? But didn't do it for the first couple of hours... Didn't feel brave enough to start taking the cover off and inspecting the belt on the trail but that the plan... (don't know what to look for once I'm in there aside from a oddly worn belt or the cover starting to belt from what I have read)

2) Poor Plastic Fit/Finish -- Maybe this is just me...or I'm too picky...but you have the front fender and then 2 side panels that snap into it just infront of the seat and under the fuel tank. The left side side cover has 3 tabs on top and 2 on each side. From what I can tell the left side panel doesn't sit right. It doesn't stay in place where it should. As soon as you put the seat on and push the side cover in place where it should line up it drops right down and it looks stupid because the tab closest to the seat pulls down from where it should be locked in place causing a bit of a gap...Maybe Normal??? Maybe typical for Polaris Quality Control??? Something Warped...dunno...since it is only on the left side it leads me to believe something is warped or not put together right... I'm not that handy or brave enough to dig in and start checking this out so its something I'll ask the dealer about at the first service checkup more than likley unless anyone has run across this and knows a fix...

I'm happy with the TB over all and very glad we purchased... Will be taking it out for some extended rides over the next few weekends and will add any additional updates...

jpoggi660R, the poor fitting plastic is typical Polaris. I have owned 2 of them and neither one's side panels fit like they should. Polaris could use some work in the fit and finish department.

Sportman --

Thanks for the comments. I'm not going nuts or being too picky then!!! heh...

Other quads that I have owned...

84 Honda TRX200
86 Suzuki 230 Quadsport
87 Honda 250X
91 Honda TRX300
01 Yamaha Raptor
and the new TB325...

I would say the Hondas have been the best overall at this point by far. They just don't have anything current that competes with some of the other MFG make & models...they are loosing ground...

Thanks,

Jason
