I'm reading the chart for this Panoram speedo/distance computer and it looks like you have to enter the tire size in millimeters. I don't see a conversion to inches. Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, but it's just not evident. I've got it all installed, it's just that the quad is up on the trailer so I can't test it tonight. I measured the wheel size and it came in at 20.5 inches or so, so that's what I put in. Do I need to convert this to mm and X by 3.14 (pi)???
Please help me get it right.

you need to enter the rolling circumference in mm. Measure the rolling circumference of the wheel:
1. mark the side of the tire and the floor at the ground.
2. roll the quad until the mark hits the ground again - mark the ground again at this point.
3. Measure the distance between marks. If the meausrement is inches, multiply by 25.4
Your number should be ~ 1600

That's what is so weird, I tried settings all in this area and it always reads too fast??? 3rd gear 72mph???
So I setup a marked mile and got the WS set at 995, and the mile reading is correct, BUT when I open it up on a straight, it climbs to 52mph or so, and then starts to go back down while I am still accelerating????
This is the Panoram unit from Walmart, I am using on my Z400.
Anyone have this thing working correctly????
Thanx,
ROB

I guess I didn't take note of the machine you had it on. You did mount the pick-up on the front wheels? Make sure you have a relatively close gap from the sensor, to the magnet. I tried finding the directions/chart and couldn't, but just take a calculator and do the math. If you do have it on the front, are your wheels in the air? Some silly questions, but just some ideas to take into consideration. Mine has worked flawlessly. One other note, before you wash the quad down, take a piece of duct tape and cover the display...or a baggie or something else works too.
