I'd be willing to bet one of the new "sport" quads will be the Rincon. That was the way they were marketing it as a "sport 4x4".

As far as the "clone quad wars", you can tell the new Artic Cat is different from the Z-400 and KXF 400. The front plastic is completely different. Of course they do the same motor, drivetrain, frame, suspension, wheels, tires, seat and handlebars, but other than that they are completely different quads

I'm still a little disappointed that the newest dyno runs only show about 1 1/2 horsepower difference between the Z-400 and the 400 EX.

actually the motor is prbably diffrent seeing as te z400 and kfx400 are 399cc and the cat is 376

if it is a new sport qwuad, itl probably be made to compete with the 650(and 660)'s

and as for honda being behind, well right now everyone making a400 is way behind the ex, like 3-4 years behind, prolly more then that...honda started the 400 craze and now everybody and their grandmama is making one, and 3 of the companys have almost the exact same quad...except forthe plastics on the 3, and the cat is a diffrent displacment, (and yes the front plastics on the kfx400are diffrent then the z40, they have lil vents infront of the lights)

Mike,

I don't have any charts here in front of me, and could be totally wrong, but if the z400 builds it's peak hp at a lower rpm, the z400 would have a distinct advantage over the 400EX. It could be the other way around though. Just a thought.
