Scrambler 500 4x4 Stuck in the MUD !!
#1
Hey everyone,
A couple of days ago, I got my Scrambler 500 4x4 stuck in the mud UP TO THE FENDERS.
On the back part of my property I have a small lake and thought I would go back and do some fishing, The layer on top was grass and when I went through it my ATV just sunk. This mud was like black chocolate mousse and waist deep.
After fighting with it for over an hour, In this crap up to my waist, I went over to my dads place and picked up his ATV and was able to get it out with a come along and my dads ATV up on a dry spot.
My Question is this: It was in the mud for approx. 6 hours. I have changed the oil, Greased all of the fittings, and lubed the chain. Is there anything else I should do or check ?
Thanks In advance

Just make sure you gave it a good bath. Then make sure the chain is clean, lube it, grease all the other fun stuff, get on the quad and go riding again. When was the last time you changed your hub fluid? Maybe that would be a good idea too.
