Just wondering if anyone had heard anything further on what Polaris will be offering for 03. Know the dealer release is Sunday, supposed to be on their site Monday.

Well, everyone seems to know about the Predator, but from what I hear, they are going to have a 600 Sportsman, and the 325 is gonna jump up to a whopping 330.

Farmr

PS I hear the Polaris website already has some info on the 2003 models.

checked the site, the "trail blazer 400" aka the scrambler sport is now up to 499 lbs,i'm still thinking where they get the 18 lbs more weight?...

Scramblered, check out the Predator! That is the machine for light weight and handling. The people who have driven it reported that they never rode a factory quad with as good of suspension & handling, it is supposed to be equal to the Cannondale, and with NO bump steer. That is gonna take over the 'sport' market, and the Scrambler, oops, I mean trail blazer is now slated as a 'fun trail' type machine.
Also check out the price on the Predator! Buy one now, because if they wind up being all they are hyped up to be, the prices are gonna only go up!

Hey Farmer123,

Looks like the two strokes are out of the line up. You may be forced to go 4 stroke unless you can find a left over 2002 two stroke. I sure thought they would stay in the line up for a few more years. My dealer has not stocked any two strokes for a few years because they do not sell as quickly as the four strokes. They dropped the MAGNUM 500 which I really think was a mistake.

The extra weight in the 400 Trailblazer is due to not having aluminum rims, floorboards and bumper like the 400 Scrambler had. There is your 18lbs.

I agree with Rincon...for once. The white painted rims give the quads a cheap look. I don't like them. And why the h*ll is there no Magnum 500???

Other than that, I'm happy with the '03 line up.
