need a little help please

Have a 2002 trailblazer only mod K&N filter want to take off airbox. Do i need to rejet temps here have been 90 to 100 degrees dont want to burn piston up. If so just the main or both jets. thanks

Hey Curb, just a thought, if the only mod you have is the K&N, you'll see some performance gains, but not as much as if it was matched to some other mods. You'll loose your water protection...unless you get a water repellent Outerwear to go around the cone-style filter. Personally, I'd wait til you installed a pipe/clutch kit. If you still want to, you should probably jet richer just to be careful, then do some throttle chop plug readings. Starting out at 1/4 throttle, maintain a constant speed for at least a 1/4 mile, then using the kill switch, chop the power. Check your sparkplug. White is lean, black is rich, and cocoa brown is perfect. Repeat those steps for 1/2, 3/4, and wide open throttle....always make sure you have enough shut-down area. I've had some pucker factor events when things get close. Trees come up fast hehe.
