I am looking for a cross reference for a oil filter on my Expedition. I seen the link for the reference from earlier, but everytime I click or try to go there, it gives me that the page has been removed or address is not correct. If someone could give the right number I would appreciate it.

I've tried a few crossed-referanced oil filters and the only one that would seal is the Fram 6607(I think-went back to a Polaris one).It seems most will bottom out on the oil filter adapter(treaded part) before the gasket seats. I haven't tried a purolater 4622 yet or a Wix 51365. Look at the treaded end, it must be "dished in" to seat. Most of the ones I found "dish out" and bottom out on the hex part on the adapter.

Tried the wix 51365 and it "bottomed out". Yes you have to watch for the depth of the "dish". The Wix is the only one that has bottomed out on me, no trouble with Fram PH 6607.

Polaris filters
Fram PH 6017a
Wix 51358

Fram PH 6607
Wix 51365
ACDelco PF1237
Motorcraft FL816
Fleetguard LF3692

Heres the info I had posted earlier. Thanks for the warning about the filter needing to be dished out, I wouldnt have known either. I havent actually used any of these filters yet, but my friend at the parts warehouse doesnt stock Fram so we got the numbers and I posted them for everybodies benefit. Im sorry to hear that the Wix filter didnt work, thats what my friend stocks and I would have been buying one in the near future.

The filter needs to be "dished in" not "out". Its tough to find some of the numbers listed on stock, there must not be enough damand for them.
