my brother has TITAIN 589's on his 450 honda, i the MAG they said they could take the grizz through everything, even in 2WD, BULL CRAP!! he got stuck with them 4 times!! (but i don't think it was the tires faul, he was hung up) they are rough at speeds below 10km/h (6.25mph) other than that the are as smooth as stock. Gators (GBC, Green ball) are smooth also, because the tread bars overlap the centre of the tire. i see only 1 problem with mudrunners, they're very expensive. ($212 a tire!!) so were the titains though, but we got them for $89 a tire (they also reatil for 2 something)

I don't own the tires but this is the tire that I will be buying the next time I buy tires. They give a nice smooth ride and yet offer very good mudding abilities. Texmudder on www.hilifter.com's forum in the tire section has pictures of them in action and a mini review. Sounds like the best all around tire but it probably costs alot too, you pay for what you get.

My dad has 28 inch 589's on his Sportsman, I've never seen him even get close to stuck. It rides great on the rocks and steep hills at Windrock in Tennessee. Great, GREAT place to ride.

589's are a great all around tire, i'm gonna get a set for the Kodiak. From what i've seen they perform great in the mud too!

Yes , M/S.
As far as the Highlifter radial outlaws go,
I would say they could be great on hardpack,
I cant see them being a great mudder(less aggresive tread).
Good mudder...yes
I think the mudrunners ,titian 589,ITP 589's,maxxis mud bugs will be a better all round tire.
I do know they will be a couple lb's lighter them any other tire in it's size and the price is $2 cheaper then the mudrunners.
I wonder why those mudrunners are so pricey?
Their $25 more then ITP's
And besides that, highlifter wont have them (radial's)for a few weeks.

MT~

The magnums are the 27"'ers...they have the very deep lugs compared to the smaller bi/tri claws (such as on our Kodiak).

For wheels I'd look into the ITP aluminum c series or billets. Very light, very strong.

any thoughts on what size to go with that will not require a lift and will not rub? 26"/27"/28"

thank-you,
-MT

P.S. what is the DIFFERENCE between Titian 589 and ITP 589's?

Another vote for the 589's

I'd go for the new Titans though with the bead guard and siped lugs. I have the new ones on the KQ and will transfer them to whatever (700 or 650) I buy next...
