well i have 2 magnum 500's a 2001 and a 2002 both of them get about 12 miles per gallon. this is riding in high gear on flat grass at about 15-25 miles per hour. in the winter when they get a mix of low gear and high gear it gets about 5.4 miles per gallon!! but i am used to this now so i find it normal... i have heard u guys getting about 20-25 miles per gallon.....(are u figuring it right???) well right back and say what u guys think!!

My 2001 Sportsman 500HO got 76.9 miles on a full tank of gas. This was done last weekend on bush trails that included level trails, rocks, swamps, water, and lots of mud. Used low range often, and got seriously stuck twice. Had to get winched out once, had to winch out another machine.
Note of caution::: ROUGH RIDING can empty your RESERVE tank - [b]DON'T RELY ON IT[b].
