Will the exhjaust off of a 400scram. fit on a 400explorer.If so is there any other mods.like jets that I will have to chang to make it run right.

 

Sorry, they wont interchange. They are different generation body styles and it just wont work without making modifications to the bike. I tied once to put a gen 3 pipe on a gen 2 wheeler and it wouldnt go. The same would be reverse. The scrambler exhaust fits higher on the bike framework because the frame is different. I put a Aaen pipe for a Scrambler on my 96 400 Sportsman and the only thing I had to do was build a spacer where the silencer mounts to the frame.Pluss rejet for the pipe.

 

Call Rick Ritter at RCR. If you have a '99 Xplorer or older, a scrambler pipe will fit without having to move the shifter or losing use of your low range. Give him a call because I know he's been posed with this question before and can help you.
