400explorer=400scram.exhaust?

Will the exhjaust off of a 400scram. fit on a 400explorer.If so is there any other mods.like jets that I will have to chang to make it run right.

Sorry, they wont interchange. They are different generation body styles and it just wont work without making modifications to the bike. I tied once to put a gen 3 pipe on a gen 2 wheeler and it wouldnt go. The same would be reverse. The scrambler exhaust fits higher on the bike framework because the frame is different. I'm not saying you couldnt make it work, but some cutting somewhere would be necessary. Good luck! Bubba[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I put a Aaen pipe for a Scrambler on my 96 400 Sportsman and the only thing I had to do was build a spacer where the silencer mounts to the frame.Pluss rejet for the pipe.

Call Rick Ritter at RCR. If you have a '99 Xplorer or older, a scrambler pipe will fit without having to move the shifter or losing use of your low range. Give him a call because I know he's been posed with this question before and can help you.
