On my first two:
1996 500 Sportsman - Excellent 4-Wheeler! Very Fast (According to Speedo, have had it over 60). Smooth ride over rough terrain.
Only problem needle in carb was wore out and belt was a little wore (What can you expect from a 6 year old ATV that has never had a wrench lifted to it?
The Replacement will be a 500 HO or 600 Twin.
1999 300 Explorer
Plus area: Quick response, rides smooth and lands smooth. Excellent jumping 4-wheeler.
Problems: Constant chain attention (tightening), problems with the mixing of the oil, boot guards are not worth .2, brake fluid leak, and the gas will hang and run wide open. In one year, I have spent over 1200.00 on the thing.
The replacement will be a 2003 330 Magnum 4x4.

There in the sig. love the Scram the machine does most everything well. Preventative maintenance is all I`ve done to them.

4, all too heavy for me, all 100% reliable./96 Trailboss 2 stroke was soooooo much fun,SP 500,abused big time,no problem at all, reliability is an issue for people who DID owe "0" Polaris quads like Rincon boy.
