when you order the cv joint the bering in the hub does not come with it?
and where do i get the bering {not bushing} for the stering shaft i went to parts land and they just show stock stuff what can i do to make it next to indestructable or at least tougherthis right front paws been thru hell twice any help would be apereciated

As far as I know, the CV joint comes by itself.
Try www.gorilla-axle.com for CV joints, boots, and the like. Lifetime warranty on their stuff.
For the lifetime replacement steering stem bushing, check out www.rittercycle.com or www.hpd.com for those.

As for the hub bearings, you can get those 'off the shelf' at any auto parts store. Just get the # off the old ones, or take it in with you.
Just as a bit of trivia, the taper roller bearings in the hub are the exact same thing as the pickup guage wheel on an OMC 596 baler, down to the number stamped on the bearing itself.

Couldn't get www.boxbrakes.com to work here, either. I wonder if they still are in business?
The Polaris 'severe duty' pads are far better than the standard as far as pad life, though. Maybe not quite the stopping power (but close) but last far longer.
