I will make this short, prediction for the next years Sportsman line up.

400 cc
600 cc

And the new 800 cc Sportsman

I think Polaris will drop the 500 and up the anti from 700 to 800 cc

None of this is based on fact or hear say, just a hunch!

the sportsman 700 is a 783cc (800) destroked to 683 cc (700),so you already have your 800,think about it it's a pretty wild beast but there a lot of power hidden on,they can obviously get it not destroked at all and getting a torque monster quad,with better exhaust system and more carburations what do ya think? so i'm not sure they will built a new engine when this one is not at FULL potential...

 

I doubt it. The Sportsman 500 has been the best selling unit in the Polaris line up for years. Why drop a best sellling unit?

 

I cant see them dropping the 500.

Why drop the 500........... Because the 600 is now the price of the 500 with 25% more torque.

People ask why all the time? I can bet you there are people out there that thought GM would never stop making the Camaro/Firebird!

i can see maybe a 500cc twin like the snowmobile line they have to 500 twins
they five 488 old one and the new usa made 500 so this could be for next year.
