What is the top speed of the 2003 trailboss 300?

 

I mean 2003 330 trailboss

 

The dealer said about 50mph but it takes along time to get there.Said it was a good quad.

 

Couple of questions: I have a 02 Trailboss.

Is the 03 very different from the 02 Trailboss 325?

- Front Racks
- Metallic looking blue instead of plain (stickers/decals, Etc)
- Engine is 5 CC Stronger.

How much of a difference in speed is the 5CC going to make? The 02's go between 40-45 with an average sized ride. YES - it does take its time getting there and climbing large hills is very tough compared to the old 91 Fourtrax 300 I had. Just feels like it needs more power. The Ride is very plush and like no other.

How does the Trailblazer 250 compare in performance to the TB?

 

As with any atv there are many mods to add for your riding style.I wanted to get the trailboss cuz it was 4 stroke.But I drove the trail blazer and likes it much better.The Trail Blazer does about 50 mph also but much snappier and tons of mods to add.If you look at my mods compaired to stock I can pull wheelies W/ no prob and an 13mph increase in speed.I love the ride of both.But it depends if you like the quiet workhorse plush ride of the trailboss or the more sporty louder plush ride of the trailblazer.Both are good atv's.

 

I went riding with a guy that had a stock Tblazer 250 and with the mods my Tboss has I actually passed him a couple times while running down a couple wide sections in the trail. The only thing the Blazer really had on the TBoss was it seemed to pull up hills a little better, due to the less weight or 2 stroke engine power.

I like my TBoss but I really want a faster quad so I can keep up with my friends quads; 300ex, 400ex, 400 sport, Raptor, blaster,

I have been followed by my wife in our 98 jeep and she paced me @ 55-56 mph on pavement.

Local law enforcement ( a friend) has clocked me doing 57 mph on blacktop.
