I was at Hay-Days swap meet and grass drags in MN today and seen the new Predator 500 in the Polaris tent. But I also went to the
"RATH Racing" tent and they had Daryl Rath's, Race Predator there. I talked to Cody Anderson, A Pro rider with Rath Racing who was managing the tent(Who rases a PSI 250R). He said that it is the best quad on the market today, just as good as the Cannondale. Rath had Pro Tapper handle bars and a White Brothers exhaust system on it, other than that it was bone stock. I thought it would look bigger than it did. It felt and sat alot like a 250R. They said it handled very well and it was very fast. Anderson said it was a little faster than the Raptor and the DS. He said he thought Rath took 3rd or better each time he raced it so far. It can also be brought down to a 440 to race Nationals. We took the seat off and checked out the carb and the air filter. He also started it up for us. It started very well, and it sounded awesome. I only wished I could have taken it for a test drive. The shocks were sweet also. That thing was set up nice. He said it flys nice and comes out of the corners very well. I took some buddies in the tent with me and lets just say they don't give Polaris the respect they deserve. Most of them were Yamaha Boys and I own a Honda. I needed to see one first hand to know if I should buy one. After seeing this great Quad and hearing what had to be said about it form someone who has driven it. I am almost "sold" on it. But I still would would like to ride one. Even my Yamaha and Honda friends were shut down, they were very impressed! Polaris has the *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $6,000 and your set.

It was nice to see first hand, the SP700 take the GRIZ660.
Now I'm hoping to see the Predator take the Raptor.
The owner and general manager like the Yamaha's better than the Polaris. In fact everyone there but us in the service department. It's always nice to show them the superior quads. They don't like it.

Rath was "awarded" two of these machines for his help in R&D. And also to promote the new machine. Quad999, wait til you ride it. I'm almost wishing I hadn't, because it makes it that much more painful waiting ARRGGGGG!!!!! I feel like Lucy just pulled the football away from me. Too bad Haydays is soooo busy that they wouldn't allow exhibition dirt drags.
