I found my pipe on ebay for $100 new in box but if you get one from a dealer it runs around $250 and about $50 for the filter.Well worth the price though.

Look at how I have my 425 set up.Filter, pipe, clutch springs. It isnt all that fast but it has power out the butt.If speed is all you want get you a sport bike not a 4x4.This 425 will keep up with my 400 2 stroke but gets blown away by the sport bikes till we get in the trails.

a filter and clutch kit works good.
the pipe doesn't give much gain, and costs alot.

a cam will give more top end power, and soo will a bigger carb.
and a big bore will give more power across the whole revrange.
