hey guys, my buddy just bought the new outlander 400. After a few days of breaking it in we decided to drag it against my sportsman 400. I admit it has faster acceleration but in a long race the sportsman pulled through. I dont no what dirt wheels was tlkn bout when they said it beat the sportsman.... yeah mayb in the 1/4 mile. if u have any replies send em.

well, i used to get dirt wheels and i think my cousin got atv magazine. dirtwheels had good ads, but thats about it.

the best info is what you see here, or in any other forum. people who own or have ridden on or against every quad out there.

do u know how fast the sp500 goes stock on a paved road. i got my sp400 up to 58mph and i was wondering in a mile long race who would win. i no the 500 has better acceleration but at topend speed i think they would run neck and neck. Is this true?

the rancher is a 350, its an es which means push button, electronic shifting. top speed is 48 mph, bone stock on a dirt or paved road

my step dad has a RSE sp500, 98 i think. top speed is around 55mph stock.
