I`M THINKING OF BUYING A 94 POLARIS 350 4X4 ITS MAINLY GREY WITH RED SEAT, LECCY START, AUTO TRANNY,WITH CHAIN REAR DRIVE, DOES THIS MODEL HAVE A NAME? ARE THERE ANY PROBLEMS I SHOULD LOOK FOR WHEN I GO TO VEIW AND RIDE?

Beyond the obvious (how well it runs) check for looseness in the chassis, mainly where the front a-arms attatch to the frame, and where the rear swingarm attatches. See how loose the steering is, and if it is loose try to figure out what is loose. Tie rod ends are about $15, and the heavy duty center bushing about $35.
Be sure the brakes all work. Worn pads are no big deal, but you don't want a sticking/leaking/worn out caliper.
The 3 chains are probably gonna be the biggest wear item, check them out, as well as the sprockets pretty good. The chains/sprockets are actually pretty easy to fix, but run maybe $80 to $120 per chain/sprocket combo, depending on where you get them. If all 3 chains & all 6 sprockets are worn badly, that can add up pretty fast.
Also, check the boot between the carb & engine (just look at it carefully, and run your hand over it) checking for cracks. They usually get shallow cracks with age, but occasionally, a crack can deepen, and open up, allowing dirt to suck into the enging. While you are there, check the air cleaner. That is probably the most neglected part on those 2-cycle engines. If the air cleaner is kept up, usually the rest of the machine has been too.
