scrambler 400 vs 400ex
#13
I raced my bone stock Scrambler 400 2X4 against two different 400EXs my first trip to the Badlands in IN.
In every race, is was almost exactly even. Whover got a better start ended up winning by about a quad length.
Later on after plenty of mods, 400EXs with pipes were no big deal, very easy to beat.

I took my 2000 400 4x4 to Silver Lake 1 week after I got it.
I lines up against a bunch of 400ex in sand drags. (My 400 was bone stock)
Of the line I could get the hole shot but was soon passed. It was alway no more than a quad length at the end. Like everyone said a Pipe and clutch kit should even thing out.
