If I were you, I would probably go with just a silencer. I don't think you'll see the gain from a pipe on a 4 stroke as you would on a two stroke. I just bought an Aaen silencer for my 325 and I've got to tell ya,I really like it. I got a modest power gain, but mostly just quicker throttle response. It has a really deep sound, and it's pretty loud. Not that that's a good thing but it sure does sound sweet. I think you get most of your performance gains (4 stroke) from your clutching, I know I did. I'm no mechanic, but this is my opinion.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Dont know where these guy get off saying a pipe is a waste? The stoke Polaris system sucks. Its heavy and very restrictive.I went with a Supertrapp IDS2 system and it is worth every penny. But when you open up your exhaust you need to get a high flow air filter(I like UNI filters best they seem to filter better than K&N))and rejet the carb to the set up.When I did this it made my 425 where it would run with my 400 2stroke.
