Ordered new black plastic for my 97 Scrambler 400. What should I do for graphics? I think both the Factory Essex kit tend to cover too much and have too much black in thim. I'm leaning towards Troy Lee or maybe the Scrambler kit from Polaris. Any other thoughts. I'm being real fussy. Don't want to screw this up.

I was just looking in a hotseat book and they have some killer graphics in there that come with a seat cover that blends into the graphics. Looks great. Did you order your plastic from Polaris? If so, what did you pay for it? I am getting ready to buy new plastic for my 97 scrambler 400 4x4 as well.

Check your messages, go with a custom shop...probably won't be too expensive, then you get something unique.

here's what you do order the decals for the 2001 scrambler allexcept for the stripes on the side of the tank because the black will not show up order the tank stripes for a 2001 trail blazer there yellow with red outlinen the checkered area there about $22.00 apiece paint the front springs safety yellow along with the headlight gaurd put ayellow shock cover on the rear and ayellow seat cover and you will have one sharp looking scrambler

Once you've got the black, get some 3M marine vinyl spray protectant. After every wash, wipe it down with this, let it sit for a few minutes, and touche' shiny black.

MODQUAD, Im going tonight to buy a Sportsman 700 in black and grey and I am very intersted in the 3M product your talking about. Where did you get it and how does it work? The dealer mentioned something about some kind of clear tape you can get from ski shops that you can put on the plastic. Has anyone tried this? I have a feeling that the black fenders are going to look pretty bad after the kids and dog get done jumping around on it.

During the summer you can get it at Walmart, but they've already changed over from summer stuff. I think you can find it at some boating places. It's pretty much the same as Armorall, but with 3M quality. Don't worry about being too protective of your quad, these machines are meant for rough stuff, and with that, they're gonna get scratched.
