OOOHHH! It was pretty pathetic for the Polaris poeple at little Sahara sandfest this weekend. I was really looking forward to racing against at least one or two other race modded machines. It is now posted on the website that there was over 3000 riders this weekend, and I had the only race modded Polaris out there. Trust me, I was looking at every one real hard. No offense to the Yamaha guys, but over 50% of the Banshees and all the Raptors (except for one)were eating my sand. I think alot of guys got their feelings hurt. I also found out that a good modded automatic can hillshoot the big hills as good as anything. I beat my 2 buddies from a standstill to the top. One was on his 500 Quadzilla, the other on his 310cc Honda 250r. Stays right on the pipe and runs up hard. Overall it was a blast. May hit it one more time this year before the bad weather. They are open year round. I guess it just depends on whether or not you like freezing your butt off. LOL As long as the sun shines, it warms up pretty good, even on the cold days.Bubba

Bubba,
Have you been to the yamaha forum? I think you need to make a trip to the Aledo "trailer park nationals"! I would like to see how the polaris will do there. I am by no means bashing as we have talked before.

Lee, tell me a little more about that. I am only 6 hours away from Dallas, and it takes 7 to get to Little Sahara. The Sport will be on alcohol as well within the next couple of months, so more fun to play with. I mean no dis-respect to any other brand. I just like it when a piped Banshee gets to see the back end of me.LOL. If I didnt have a Polaris, I would own a Banshee I suspect. The power capability is unmatched.I really dont know why I have a Polaris, just what I ended up with. The auto design intrigued me and I had to see what it was capable of. If the bike weighed what a 250r weighed, it would really be hard to contend with. 70-75HP is impressive numbers for any single cylinder.I would like to know more about that place. Jay Miller (from MO) is wanting to go somewhere else as well to put his alky burner to the test. All in good fun, of course. I dont get upset when I get beat. There is always someone faster, ALWAYS. Bubba,
I am on your side as I am getting another Polaris. Plus I think from past conversations your did the port job on my motor. I would just like to see you beat all the Raptors and DS650's. Like I said I am not here to bash and I am not that brave as you guys are. I would also like to bounce some other ideas off of you.
