Trail Blazer

Do all trail blazers suck a$$. I just raced one with my stock Quadrunner 160 and i killed it in repeated races. I got the holeshot and kept making distance. The quadrunner has a higher top speed too 78km and and the blazer was lucky to do 76km. It is very gutless and can hardly spin the tires. He wants some mods for it what does a K&N air filter do. How fast would it go with a new filter and pipe and clutch kit.

The TB you raced has issues. I own a TB, but while I was home in WI I borrowed a friends 160 for a day of riding. While the TB is not a racer by any means, is was not as slow as that 160 was. Not to mention the 160 had terrible suspension.
Overall, the TB is a good machine. Especially for the price.

ok so mabye they dont all suck what does a K$N air filter do for them can you pull catwalks by kneeling on the seat. will it make it so it doesn't bog when the throttle is pushed. will it give it more top speed??????

Way back in the day Trailblazers used to be fast untill the 400 came out and the factory detuned the Trailblazer so they can push the sales on the 400 better.Like i said before stock they are slow but with some mods they really get woken up!A pipe, silencer, clutch kit and filter kit really does the trick. It would not be the same quad with these mods.Stock it does about 50 mph with NO bottom end.But with mods they can go from 60 to 70 mph and you can pop wheelies all day depending on what you do to it.I do believe that your 160 beat the TB cuz your 160 weighs about 300 lbs and is way smaller, and the TB weighs 460 lbs.It is a great quad for just about anything as long as it is modded!I used to have a 250 quadracer (REALLY FAST)and i loved that bike but im 30 now and outgrew the QR and all day trips with it just wore me out.But the TB fits me great,Comfortable ride, tons of ground clearance and suspension travel.Just like lurch said you cant beat the price and ride. Do the mods and he will rip you apart!!!

To start with he can change the primary spring and he will be able to wheelie alot easier($18.00 for spring).K&N will not do much for it.K&N works best with pipe.More air needs more exhaust! This will not do anything to top speed thats what pipe, silencer and clutch kit is for.But if he dont have money go with the spring.Polaris white primary! He can put 1 knee on the seat with foot on rear grab bar and then hit the throttle, pull up and ride away.

I have a 2000 TB with some typical mods. I hate to say it but this could not wheelie if it life depended on it. I put the HPD pipe, clutch, K/N, aluminum wheels and some other neat things. This bike has ZERO bottom end. It takes forever to rev up and does not even spin the tires in sand. I am very dissappointed with it, seems like it ran better with no mods. Any suggestions?????????? Its jetted, runs 91 octane fuel, that is the best we have here, plus Klotz injector oil. I also had a 2000 Scrambler 400 2x4, I loved this machine and wish I still had it. Been riding my buddies 03 Trailblazer 400 (reskinned Scrambler) and really miss my old 400. Anyhow, my Trailblazer is in need of some severe help. Like I said, no bottom end, cant spin the tires, and is louder than ever with the HPD pipe. ????????
