What all do you have to do to install a Speedkit for a trailblazer? Do you have to take the engine apart and everything. also, if a pipe comes with a built in silencer, can you still take it on and off. If these questions sound stupid its because im new to four wheeling. thanks

Speedkit from hsp?You will have to take the clutch cover of and the old exaust system. The outer sheath of the front clutch will have to be removed to replace the primary spring(7 bolts);and the wieghts will have to be removed to install the new ones(3 bolts). The rear clutch is where you will want to have Dad or a buddy help you.To remove it all you do is unscrew the one center bolt. Then you must remove the snap ring (get a snap ring plier for this, spring tension is prsent ,so be wary.) to remove the old helix and secondary spring.Install the spring in the suggested holes(clutch and helix) and turn the helix the specified amont in the specefied direction, then while holding its positionpush down and install the snap ring. That is the step where you will need help most likley. It is crucial for the atv's performance that you turn and hold the helix as specified in you directions.

Take your time and be careful when dealing with aluminium.

It is real easy!Everything that Biggin said is correct except he left out that it would need to be rejetted. The secondary clutch is tha crucial thing to get right if it is not wound right you wont have any power. The directions are simple. But if you cant get the secondary wound right then take just the secondary to your polaris dealer and have them do it.It would only take them 10 minuts to do it.It is a great kit.Hope your happy with it if you get it.A better kit would be from RCR and HPD.But RCR would be the best deal cuz you get the pipe, silencer, clutch kit,and K&N airfilter mod and all of that is only 325.00 with free shipping and Rick Ritter (the owner)will personally help you on the phone. He is great to get help from.

If you have to Hotseat pipe the silencer does not come off.
Speed kits usually just deal with a pipe, clutch kit and a
carb jetting change. The instructions included in your kit
should explain everything just read and follow them to the
letter.

Taking off the silencer will make it louder, but you will also have a clutch and exaust system that are NOT in sync. That is a killer on auto tranny machines. You engine will be making max power at "X" rpm's,while your clutch will shift out at "Y" rpm's.
