until I found out they dont have a backflow .
When you shut it down,the oil drains from the filter giveing you a dry start.
The polaris and amsoil prevents the oil from draining when it's not in use.
No, the warrenty will not be void if you do your own.
Make sure you prim the oil pump after you clean the screen
