When in 4x4 and on accel there is a loud snap or pop noise from the left side and the handlebars jerk to the left.
It seems to be doing this all the time.

I remember there being a time or 2 when i was in 4x4 and it pulled hard left like that was the
only wheel pulling then it would release

Any suggestions

 

First, check each of your front hubs and make sure there is oil, but since it only does it in 4x4, take the front hub off, you must remove the brake caliper first, and there is a flat black washer with 3 points that sits next to the magnet...make sure that these aren't bent or that anything else isn't out of alignment.

It sounds like your one hub is momentarily unlocking and then locking up again. Could be a bad wire de-energizing your hub lock or your hub is wore out causing the rollers to skip internally. Your spring that holds the rollers all together may also be broken allowing the rollers get out of place a little. Take your hub ont left side apart and check out your hardware. If everything inside is in good shape, check out the wiring to it.

 

Well upon further review I found an exploded cv joint bearing cage on the
right side
