bought a 2002 325 magnum about 2 weeks ago. less than 4 hours on bike. Vibrates like @#$% at just over idle speed, then seems to smooth out a bit. Handlebars look like they are about to fly off at just over idle speed. Wonder if this will decrease a bit as bike breaks in??

I have an 01' Trail Boss 325 and it vibrates like a stinker at idle. I think it is the 325 motor and the lack of a counterbalance.

 

i had a bad vibration in my 400 xplorer and found a large stick wedged between the bottom of the engine and the skid plate making the rubber motor mounts not work.

 

I have the Mag 325 and it vibrates also. It has been a solid performer though.

on the pvt side, right next to the plastic snorkel, look straight at the carb.
there is a big brass thumb fingure screw, that adjusts the idle.
fiddle around with it till you find get it to idle a lil smoother, just don't set it too low that it lugs the engine, or soo high that the quad wants to move.
