Looking towards end of Nov for pick up. Dealer has 20 coming in the first batch, and ordered 50 total. I'm number 11 out of the first 20 coming in the next week or three.

And yes, it's true, you don't pick what version you want, i.e. XC, Dune, you just select the accessories you want.

Picked up these options.....

Shock reservoirs, K&N, chassis skid plate, shock covers, rear grab bar, front bumper, nerfs, quad cover, x-chain, and rear skid plate. They gave me those at 10% off....and zero 0% financing for a year. I gave them a check for the total, but then they offered the financing because of buying all the accs.....no interest....sure, why not!?

I didn't get the paddles or the pipe....want to get my own paddles and I'll wait 6 months until there are better pipes on the market with dyno tests.......

I'm hoping this thing is as good as it looks. I've had a 250R, 250X and of course a blaster quad....and ridden pretty much everything except a z400 and a cannondale.

I almost opted for the z400, but for the price...and all the goodies, the predator got my vote.... we'll see what happens..

Does anyone know the details on the extended warranty?

Also, for the $95 sand paddles as an option, does that include a wheel too? Or just a tire?

I will be real shocked if he gets 20 of them. What he orders and what he gets are two different things. My dealer is the largest Polaris dealer in New England and ordered a bunch, so far only 2 are coming in Nov. and 4 in Dec. in which 3 are Troy Lee version's. Hopefully the dealer will get you one in Nov., but I won't hold my breath over it.

I hear ya. I've seen that on a few posts now.

The sad thing is, this dealer is taking deposits for all 20 now as far as I know.

I think we were the first ones to actually "buy" it since they were trying to figure out what they were going to charge people for setup and freight, and the discount they were going to give on the quad itself. They offered the same pricing structure to everyone buying one.

I'm thinking by late December, worst case scenario. But I'll ride their you know what to make sure I'm still 11 on the list, not #19. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

San Diego dealers always seem to pull through for the most part....we'll see...... you'll certainly know what happens....

 

which dealer was this in SD? im in SD and interested in possibly buying a predator......and 0% for one year sounds REALLY good!

Why did you go so far to purchase you new Predator? I'm just curious is all. What was the total otd price you paid for it before all the goodies and after? Did you know that if you bought your ATV out of state and
DID NOT pay sales tax the state of Arizona will charge you when you go to MVD to regrister the unit.

What Arizona dealerships did you contact about purchasing a Predator. I know I ordered 48 of them in August
and was told by Polaris that they were only going to ship 20% of the orders in November. That means If Polaris keeps their word I should have roughly nine Predators shipped to me in the month of November,
the thing they do not tell you is they may ship you all the units on the last day of the month meaning you will not recieve them until December but they kept their word by shipping them in November not a good thing if you ask me.

If the dealer you ordered yours from ordered 50 Predators he should only be getting 10 units shipped to him in the month of November. What number did you say you were again?

 

Trexx: It was motorsport warehouse in Poway. You only get the special financing if you buy 1k in assc (stipulation). But yes, not bad. Plus, 10% off the cost of them......

Scotty: Well, I made all the decisions, my father is the one that is making the purchase. It's a special arrangement my dad is getting with some friends.....(sorry, have to be vague) Anyhow, that is why. I'm from San Diego, and always go there, but my parents live there, so it will be registered in CA, not AZ. I will bring the quad back to Tucson when it arrives. And yes, the sales tax I understand. The sales tax here in Marana Co is cheap, in the 5% range.....little cheaper than CA. Anyhow, I went to Tucson Cycle and Ski about picking up a Z400, but then the night I was going to make the decision, I ran across the "Predator". You see, I haven't been in the market for a quad, so I'm outta the loop and didn't know it was coming out. Plus, this purchase is also spur of the moment and is only happening because of something my dad ran across. ( I would tell you, but then I would have to kill you, haha) Since my pops is only 15 mins from a Polaris dealer out there, he took care of it, rather than having to be out here to make the transaction with this Polaris dealer.

It's funny you mention that. Before we committed to buying the quad, they the quads would be in yesterday, yes yesterday. Now, as of a few days ago, they are saying end of November. And if what you're saying is true, it's quite possible begng Dec or so. Now, the 20% rule, hmmm, can't say. If that is the case, and if it pushes us back beyond mid-late Dec, my patience will have run out and I'll shop around for someone who will truly have one in stock for us.

And yes, number 11. HaHa. Mind you, people flake out. I would assume we'll be number 8 before you know it....haha

Trexx: Yeah, when I was looking at the Z400 here in Tucson, but my dad went by Alba for some reason, and he was pricing out theirs. Anyhow, Alba wants $7600 out the door for their "suped" up Z. Then, like I said, the Predator came along at only $300 more MSRP, and I'm like Duh!, get the predator. Plus, I liked the idea of the Predator's suspension and overall stance.

The predator motor/tranny, I have my concerns......but the fact is, it has been tested for 2 years... that brings some comfort. Those Z's though are worthy quads, and if the predator hadn't come out, I would have been all over the Z. The predator could have some major failures, I just hope they appear in the first year under warranty...and are corrected... Either way, it should be one phat quad!

My dad has been speaking with Doug there by the way.

Remember, if what Scotty said above is true, then there is a good chance those 20 that are suppossed to be coming in the first batch, will be more like 9-10? So, before dropping your hard earned money, inquire into this 20% of total ordered thing with them and have them reassure you it's either incorrect, or if it does hold some value, then what delivery date would yours be coming on.... you get the point....

Plus, the no interest financing, you have to spend 1k in assc, so that would be over 1k since you have 10% off.... the final dollar amount has to be 1k or more.

Let me know if you to get one. I want to make sure you get the same deal as me, because the dealer said everyone is getting the exact same offer on the quad. No exceptions.

Whats assc? So do you have to order 1k worth of polaris accesories to get the 0%? i got quoted 5600otd from alba for a z400 stock....im sure they could go lower. you just have to tell them ur serious and they will make a deal....what price do u mind did u pay for the predator OTD?and how much/what kinda accessories can u get/got? thx!

 

Trexx: Accessories, like the ones I mentioned in my first post. Those are the ones I got for the predator. As for Alba, my dad went in there out of curiousity to see what they had since we had done business with them a long time ago and he was in the area. My dad did no negotiation with him, Alba just said that we can sell you the modded Z for $7600 out the door(everyone's price). They basically rationalized and said, we won't make you pay for the $$ setup/freight, but if you buy all of our accessories, then you can have it for that price OTD. My dad just went on to tell me, but then I said the predator was more interesting and we would look into getting that instead.

OTD, not sure to the penny, picking up the receipt tonight. Around $7400-7500 my guess. I just don't know reg, lic, doc fees.

Again, the accessories are priced out on the brochure. I paid retail for those, minus 10% off. I had to spend the 1k to get the zero interest deal. I was going to get most of those accessories anyhow sooner or later, I just ended up getting them a little earlier. Either way, I'm getting a quad for the same price as the Z400 modded and a lot more in accessories, and considering no one is giving these Predator's away, the price we paid is "fair", especially if we end up getting one in the first batch as "promised". Again, according to the dealer, there is no negotiation on the price of the predator. Everyone is getting the same deal/offer from them. If I hear otherwise, I'll be making a visit.

Another thing, you realize you would have saved $1540 from the total had you did that deal with Alba on the Z, no?? That price is very, very good. I doubt that price OTD for a stock Z can be beat.
