Just got back. We rode the "C" Trail. A & B took forever, there were so many that wanted to ride those ones. Got lined up for the c and got started alot earlier. This was the first time for our group, and we were a little dissapointed with the organization for the whole thing. No maps, no information of the trails, no where to park hardly. We even missed the first check point, because we just thought it was a food trailer. Someone must of run over the 18" square "checkpoint" sign. No one in our group seen one. We even stopped there, looked around, and all we saw were people eating and dinking. The other check points were easier, we knew what they were after asking some others.

Ryan,

I was there, My Sport suffered a compression problem (or lack of compression)on trail C, so I finished the run on my Trailblazer on trail A.

Other than all of the slow pokes (90% of the people there) stopping for every rock on the trail, I had a good time. I blew by all the check points there because I didn't want to get stuck behind a bunch of Sunday drivers.

We only got to ride one of the trails because the AHPA wanted the trails closed at 1:30 PM. If they keep this practice up and the raising of prices, (for both the Poker run and the parking) I won't be back next year. As it is I'm disapointed that they didn't have a trail D that the less experienced could enjoy and stay off the faster and rougher trails.

got back this afternoon. Rode trail C, is was easy compared to last year. I think I rode B, a lot of slow PPL, one guy had to stop at every little incline or decline to put his machine in low range. The big mud pit ws kinda fun, was doin donuts on the polaris along with the rest of my crew watching all the two wheel drives getting stuck. The one guy with us was on a blaster and he got so muddy it looked like he got dragged in the mud behind his quad. All and all had a good time and will probably be back if the price doesn't go up again!!!!!

Mike,

My dad and I and some of our friends rode the A trail it was pretty fun. One of the guys on a warrior had to be towed back his fourwheeler was knocking and another guy on a sportsmen hit a stump and bent his rim and a-arm. But my dad and I go through no prob. The best thing I like was there was somewhat alot of mudd were you could roost other riders including dad. LATER!!!

Hey, I probably saw you there. The Trailblazer ran like a champ, even after I rolled it. I started trail A at about 10:30 and got done at about 1 pm. I would have loved to have ridden that trail with a lot less people on it. Oh well, unless things improve for next year, I won't be back.

Just visiting from the yamaha page, no one talking about poker run there. I rode the B and the C trails. In all I had a great time. Where else can you get to see 7000 atvs all at one time? I even heard that their were very few problem prior to the event. Except of course for the few nuckle heads racing around the road with out helmets dodging cars. ( not real bright and one of the reasons events like this get ruined for the rest of us). I think the trails were layed out pretty good we only got held back in traffic a few times. Nothing worth complaining about. Hope to make it to the tour-de forest in marienville May 20th.
P.S My buddy and I made it threw the small pond/big mud hole on B Trail It was deep! anyone else make it? A sportsman 500 soaked his belt triing it beside us.

2000 Kodiac 26" mud sharks and all the toys I can get for it.

Hi I went with my 11 year old son rode trail c had a ball. My son made it right through the mud pit on his Trailboss. Saw all kinds of machines stuck Polaris did dominate that mud pit. Watched some guy roll his Sortsman going up a steep incline right after the mud pit. Turned it right side up and drove it away WOW!!!. Was dissapointed with the organization. Found trail c by luck. Spent 45 min looking for trail B and got kicked off after only 2 miles or so. After driving 9 hours and spending $150.00 on gas was not happy with riding only one trail. We started at 8:10 and didnt get to ride second trail. Thought we did pretty well our first time out. My son did a great job riding dont think we were one of the slow pokes. Only a few past us in the open fields. Not sure if I would do it again unless the keep trails open longer.
