KBB says $5300 which i think is WAY out of line! Christ, you can buy a BRAND '03 NEW SP500 for $5700!
bumpers add additional un-necessary weight and make the ride less sporty so you may want to take them off. storage box, windshield, hand/thumb stuff all have -0- resale value in my opinion. they are 'freebies'. trailer at Home Depot BRAND NEW goes for a few hundred bucks. i'd say the realistic value in ABOVE-AVERAGE to EXCELLENT condition would be $3500-$4000 tops in my area.

I am looking at a 2000 SP-500 for $4400 or a 2002 SP-500 HO for $4800. I am trying to figure out if it is worth an additional $400 for me to have to carry it 500 miles in the back of a truck to my home.

 

no, i own a 02 freedom sportsman and i got that for $7400 with tax and i live in NJ, in a way i dont think its worth 400 miles, but its your decision.

 

02 freedom sportsman - NICE ATV! i wish i bought one when i had the chance. of all the Sportsman500's sold, that one would have to be the collector of a lifetime.
