Default Intake Valve Ajustment

I have heard that on the 02 SP500 HO's that the intake valves are often to tight which cause the atv to be pretty cold blooded. How hard would this be to adjust. I have a 02 SP500 HO and it has been hard to start especially when it cold but even when its not that cold. I would like to fix this my self if i could, but If its to difficult ill just have to pay the dealer to do it.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

It is not hard to do more of a pain in the butt getting the gas tank off.I think they set at .006 but check the manual to be sure.
