Maybe we think they are great. But maybe you are bit immature too. And for the record, I don't believe your stories about the 300 or the soil testing co. You want me to believe you? Get some proof your stories are not just some immature crap from a little kid trying to be cool. Next time, if you want to post something, at least try to make it somewhat informative, ok?

I see you have a AC bearcat 454, how well is that holding up? i have a bud who got one of the first one's, and boy was it a pile. he went threw at least 3 engines, and broke just about everything else on it. thats why he called it the "****y kitty" So i guess, even if what you said was true, polaris isn't the only company with bad quality, just look what you ride.

All company's have a bad machine come off the line, get over it.

ACrules, I live "here" in Illinois too, actually 130 miles from you. Polaris sells just like any other brand around here. Your entire post is laughable. The ATV repair shop story is really appealing, too. Other than that, I agree with lurch.

My stories are true the soil company is
located in toulon its called Mowers
soil testing. The cycle shopis in West
Jersey Charlies Cycle Supply call him
up and he will verify everything i told
you is true because he fixed the
polarises that broke down and the
company wouldnt pay him and my 454 is a
1998 not 97 and is not a bearcat. And
as for my friend 300 it did break the
same day he got it I was with him when
it happened and when he took it back
and they wouldnt give him a new one
they made him wait for a new engine. I
would post someting helpful but I just
dont know how to fix all those broken
polarises. My 98 has 3500 miles on it
and has had no problems.

98 454 pull you
anytime

These posts are getting so agressive. However, Polaris owner's do not bash those other cie's as much as you "other-brand" riders. Get a grip! I went this week-end to my usual spot and I saw all kinds of quads. There was a trick 400ex which really impressed me...nice jumps.I actually would like one of those. The most amazing was that new DS650 from Bombardier. It sounded like thunder as it passed by. The guy was jumping twice as high than the others.First time I saw one on the trails. Amazing. Tons of bikes and tons of tricks. I kinda fealt slow when watching these guys ride.
I have owned and ridden many Polaris' for 5 years now. Just got a Scrambler400 and still have an Xplorer400. The trails here are all being washed out by flowing water and mud. We were in a really deep rut and my Xplorer went in and out...so did my Scram. The belt smoked a bit...not used to it yet. Some guys who were following us had brand-new kawasakis and hondas. We had to keep on going back to help them through the nasty stuff.
Polaris is and always will be among the best bikes. Fast and reliable. There are lemons everywhere...especially some nasty ones on these forums.
Ride Polaris...or shut the H*ll up!

Where in ILL. exactly are you? I drag my 400 in northern ILL. all the time and am seeing more and more 400's everytime I go. Last season the 251cc-up class was 50/50 Banshees and Sport/Scramblers. I also see more and more of them at the TT track, and guess what, they're winning too.

As for your friend he probably "cold seized" his motor. No dealer in their right mind would've gave him a new ATV, Polaris, Honda or whatever.

I think you just enjoy getting people worked up. It is funny you keyed your post after I spent the day riding with 3 guys on Actic Cats. 300 4x4's I think. The whole day was a waste. After they finally did get the things started, it only went down hill. From broken parts to them being stuck. It just went on and on. I had the tow strap on each of their bikes at one point or another. My point is, if you look hard enough you can find junk. Maybe these guys never lifted a finger to maintain their bikes. I don't know. But, I'm not ready to write off a whole brand of ATV based on one bad experience, and I will not write a post claiming 'AC is not as good as you think' in a AC forum. Use your head.

I have a Polaris and a Arctic Cat. I have to admit that I have had a lot more problems with my Arctic Cat than my Polaris. This does not mean I think all Arctic Cat's are bad though. I really like my Arctic Cat, but I also like my Polaris. I think a lot of the duribility of a bike depends on maintenance and how and where you ride it. I mean if you constantly ride mud but do no maintenance, what do you expect, something will wear down or brake faster than normal conditions. I had a Honda 4x4 that was a complete lemon, but I still like Honda's. Where I live, I have seen every make of bike have some type of problem. Instead of bashing another make of bike, go ride with those different types of bikes.
