Best mods to beef up sp 500???

Hey everyone.
I got my Sp 500 and have rode it a few times and I am wondering how do I beef up this fairly tame beast.
Is there a pipe or carb kit or clutch kit that you would recomend. I came from a Raptor to this as my riding styles have changed and I think I should have gotten the 600 twin. I want to make the best of what I have so all help will be appreciated.

I tried everything. Pipe, carb, clutch, cam. Nada. The H.O. is it. Nothing more does any good. Trade it in on a 600 twin.

Pipe it jet it and clutch it.You have a very good machine just needs some fine tuneing.Bigger is not always better. TRy Aaen and HPD.I ended up with a SuperTrapp IDS2 on my Magnum and it made it really turn on.Now it runs right up there with my 400 2 stroke.
