I was supposed to get a black one but after so many shipping delays I said screw it and got the silver (gray?) one. I'm glad I did too... because you're right about the scratches and stuff. I discovered a few small scratches on mine from just this past weekend's riding, and ya know what? They're damn near invisible. I hate to think what they'd look like on the black one.

Besides, in a year, Maier will have all kinds of different colored body parts for this thing so you can get whatever color you want. And Ceet (among others) will have graphics packages too.

Who knows, maybe next year Polaris might even offer a DIFFERENT color. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I agree black is the worst color to have no matter what you own.

But right now black is the cool color to have when it's new and shiney still. Until the aftermarket comes out with different colors and graphics I like black over grey.

Hell my will still be new looking until May or June when I finally get to do some riding on it cause right now there's snow and ice here.

 

Wow guys relax. My scrambler is black and I love it. I don't notice the scratches or anything, anymore than on my dads freedom Sportman. It's red.

 

This is not anything against Black, Yes it looks COOL.
It is a FACT that it shows dust, dirt and scratches worse, no big deal.

This is however a SLAP in the face for those paying THOUSANDS of dollars more just for black plastic and special stickers.
If you got one from the factory, GREAT.
Just don't waste your $$$$ on those trying to make a quick fortune, wanting way more than what it originally sold for, TRYING TO MAKE IT SOMETHING IT IS NOT

At least with the 500 Scrambler X you got a special Seat, Wheels,Bumper, and special Black Plastic and X stickers, $500 extra over standard Scrambler price.

Black is about $400 Canadian more the Grey, not thousands

And if I was to put my bike on Ebay and some idoit who doesn't know much about ATV's but what's it cause it a limited build or color or whatever, WELL SWEET more money for my pocket.

Think about it are you going to complain to someone offering you more money then it worth? Think Not!

 

Again, I have no problem with those that have bought the TL predators that they have reserved. If you like Black, Im sure it would cost about $400 to upgrade plastic So its worth it.

My problem is those who are auctioning there TL predator reserve for $500, that cost them nothing, or selling there Brand New TL predator to make a large profit at some uneducated persons expense.

Yes I feel this is wrong. I do not like the Idea of waiting for some idiot, that is taking advantage of someone. I know I do not like being taken advantage of.

Some people don't care how much extra it is, they just want what others don't have or can't get. When they hear limited edition or no more available they don't care to pay the extra cash. I am guessing that the person who spends the extra cash, probably doesn't think its a lot of money. So if someone who has a lot of money wants to spend more for what they want I sure as hell wouldn't feel bad selling it to them.
