ATV/Motorcycle manufacturers must have a magic dyno that always gives higher results than those achieved in the real world, it's probably next to their magic scale that always read lighter than anyone else's.

They always have high horse numbers and low weight numbers when they come out look at the raptor when it came out i think they had a tire off of the scale when they weighed it

Ok, Dirtwheels says 45hp.......

The dealer in OKC has the WB/Polaris exhaust in stock. He says 6hp gain.

Who's heard the same thing?

Dirt Wheels said Polaris said 52 hp at the countershaft, which translates to about 45 hp at the wheels...

While the stock pipe is restrictive, I just don't see it being worth 6 hp. Maybe that with a pipe, filter, and jet kit.

My dealer says they have three of the pipes on order and one came in and was picked up, yet the thing still shows as being on backorder. So they have no idea when they'll see anymore.

If mine isn't here in another week or so, I may pick up a Universal Supertrapp IDS2 and have it adapted. Or maybe an e-Series for a 400EX or something...

I worked on the thing a little and got the stock hp to 45 ( too tight of chain and cleaned the filter ) this is at the rear wheels.

Chain too tight huh? Mine's pretty tight too... how loose did you have to set it?

Why not 6hp? I would tend to believe 6 is on the high side also if it wasn't for the Raptor. When the Raptors were first released no one would have believed the outstanding HP gains with just a pipe and jetting.
If the exhaust is worth 6hp then I'll bet it will definitely need rejetted.
With the style of air filter on the Predator I'll be surprised if an aftermarket filter will show any improvement.

Who's the engine manufacturer for Polaris?????
