Default Polaris Plow attachment (Backordered)

Purchased a new Sp 700, two weeks ago. I love it. Great ride, plenty of power. The only problem is, I have the plow, put the attachment is backordered. Everytime I speak with my dealer, they tell me a different due date. Called Polaris twice, and each time they have told me a different delivery date also. You would think if x number of plows are manufactured, that x number of attachments would also be manufactured. Anyone else in the same situation??

it seems to me that just about everything ordered for polaris gets backordered unless the dealer happens to have it on the shelf

Tell me about it. Took me 3 Months to get a Starter. Now you would think that would be in stock since they build bikes everyday.

Just my 0.02 cents

HELP!

Does anyone here have the Polaris Sportsman Deluxe frame plow system? If yes can you explain in detail on how the front attaches to the ATV ? possibly send me a pic?

When I ordered the blade and frame I reluctantly did not read the part about needing a winch mount plate.

TIA!

You need the mounting plate. then it's real easy. No mounting plate and you'll never beable to mount it.

I have never had anything backordered from Polaris, everything has been here in 2 days. As for installing I found the directions that came with mine quite easy to follow and took about an hour. They have 2 different mounts 1 for the GEN IV and the IV+ is a bit different. The differances I saw were tube length and the front bracket. The IV has a bracket that mounts th the outside front frame with 4 bolts and the IV+ has a bracket that mounts up above the frame. I use the winch for lift and mine works great.
