52 page Predator Exploded View Parts List
#1
I'm sure many people would be interested in a very thorough internal view and parts number list for a Predator?
Its very very detailed too.
My Observations:
I notice that the tranny gears only had 3 gear dogs teeth instead of 4...........just like the first year Raptor. (See page D3)
Valves have TWO springs on each valve stem, and inner and outer spring!. (see page C7)
Interesting Carb view on page C9, it has both a butterfly throttle valve, AND a diaphragm controlled "Piston Valve?" (part 4 on page C9)
The electrical starter motor even has its own exploded view, so it seems you can even rebuild your starter motor! (Page D1)
Standard graphics decals part numbers are listed on page A7, and Troy Lee Limited edition decals on page D8.
See it all here:

Heapster,
Way to find the diagrams! It does look like there are only 3 cogs on the gears in the tranny, but it's not going to have the same problems the Raptors did. Polaris has had this problem before in their auto trannies in the forward gear. 3 small cogs and 3 small holes. In 98 they upgraded and made the 3 cogs larger in size and strength and make 3 larger holes in the backside of the next gear. This fixed the problem of "grinding" gears in the auto trannies of all models. It looks like they are using the same design in the predator. The raptors on the other hand, had 3 small cogs with 6 small holes in the backside...but instead of making 3 bigger cogs, they went to 4 slightly bigger cogs and 4 slots on the backside. So I think there is nothing to worry about...Polaris just might have it together on this one. Remeber...the Pred had also been beaten to high heaven by those test riders for 3 yrs. I think they have a promising product.
