Allied Power Mart in Conroe, Tx will sell one for 5999 out the door (no tax because out of state).

don't you still have to pay sales tax when you register it in your home state?

Art sells Polaris quads to people from several states. In fact, they were the top dealer in their 3 state region. Amazing, considering they are out in the sticks. I've seen people in there from Nebraska to pick them up. Not only does he have good prices, he has very good service. And yes, Monica is a hottie!

They race Polaris quads and Art knows Daryl from HPD well. These guys could have done some test riding for Polaris, and that would explain the top speed statement. They may have the best Polaris showroom in Oklahoma.

FYI, I saw a Predator on the showroom in Dallas yesterday also. Nobody at Honda-Suzuki North bothered to speak to me, so I didn't get a price from them. They also sell Suzuki and they wouldn't deal on a Z400 a few weeks back. I was ready to buy one and went back to them since I got a good deal on my Vinson from them earlier in the year. I'll buy elsewhere next time. They screwed up a chance at a repeat customer.

Anyone looking to buy a Polaris should give Art or Monica a call. They will shoot you a good price over the phone if you are willing to pick it up. Heck, they may even ship it to you.

How about getting a picture of Monica so we can all see if she is a hottie.

Brought the Predator home......

Talked with several dealers about the price, story I'm getting is Polaris has threatened to cut the advertising of dealers that sell the Predator under MSRP. I heard this from several dealers spread over a wide area.

But, my dealer finally came through with a deal I could live with.

Polaris dealer here at McAlester OK quoted 6100 for the predator. They have 2 of the 500's and 2 of the 90's. I sure am having a very hard time not taking one home. Its just a matter of time before I own one too.

Given that these machines just came out, I don't see it as unreasonable that dealers won't go below MSRP. I do, however, have a problem with any dealer charging over that.

I paid MSRP for mine, and I was lucky to get it when I did. After bailing on my Troy Lee edition because of repeated shipping delays, I happened to call the local dealer and they had one in stock that had been sold, but the guy's financing fell through, so it was available. I asked them to get it ready for me, as I'd be right down.

They also gave me 10% off all of the accessories I ordered, since I had to get $1000 worth to get the 0/0/0 for 12 months financing. Plus I got another $100 off the 3-year extended warranty. So, I have no complaints with the price I paid.

I thought Monica was the owner?

Anyway, Polaris Outdoors in Tulsa received my TLD and one silver Predator this past Tuesday. Last week they received three or four Pred 90s.

Three more silver ones shipped out yesterday heading to them. I rode mine for the first time today. The dealer still has it and is running it through the break-in process. He was doing another 10 minute or so below 1/2 throttle run today while we were there. He forced me to take a nice and easy test ride. I must admit, I sort of exceeded 1/2 throttle in third and the front wheels started up off the ground.

can't wait to get that baby home for some real riding.
