I would call Dalton and have them recommend whats best for your application. I believe the big wheel kit is for just that (bigger rolling mass) and not weight on the quad. I have never seen clutch kits sold for big guys (300lbs) vs Little guys (125lbs)

SP 700
Where do you live?
Dalton is not meant for above 3000ft.
H/C is good anywhere.
As Snowride said ...
the big wheel kit is for anything larger then stock wheel's.
If you can wait I'm gonna be doing some more testing with H/C

hi sp700

i'm afraid i might not be much help for you cuz i had the dealer put on the epi clutch kit(160.00 u.s.) before i even drove it, so i don't know what stock is like, but i'll tell you this...it kicks a$$. don't know about top end, haven't been there yet. I'm putting it away for the winter iin a few days
can't wait till next year!! good luck!!

I have bigger than stock wheels(26's),so I have the bigwheel kit.
Before you go running off for the Dalton kit you should know the H/C test was done with a 700 belt, the Dalton was done with a 500 belt.So I'll be switching to the H/c with the 500 belt and seeing what happens

Sorry for taking so long, but you all know how the holidays are
Okay here we go
Did another test with the Dalton,
all time's were basicly the same as first posted, except top-end was 58mph.Maybe the new belt gave me 2mph and now it's worn in

HC with Dalton secondary spring
0-20=2.73---2.96---2.86
0-30mph=4.30---4.31---4.60
0-50mph=12.19---11.42---11.10
top-end=56mph

HC
0-20=2.75---2.85---2.67
0-30=4.25---4.10---4.00
Here I jumped right to 0-50
10.75---10.73---10.81 Thats a 10sec differance from the first time.
top-end=58mph
wheelie's on demand in low

Differance
500 belt
and did some more filing.
