2001 trailblazer best pipe

Just got my wife a 2001 trailblazer and was wondering what's the best aftermarket exhaust for this machine? Also what's the best bang for the buck trying to get a few more horses out of the trailblazer?
Thanks

Me and Talonhawk know more about TB mods then most other people here. I have the HPD trial pipe on mine and i love it. The best bang for the buck would be the RCR Stage 1 kit. It is $325 plus free shipping and Rick Ritter is great to deal with. It comes with a pipe, silencer, clutch mod, and airfilter mod. This will increase stock 22hp to 30hp. There are 4 companies that deal primarily with polaris mods. AAEN,HPD,RCR,and Hotseat performance. I would say that HPD is the best but your going to pay a little more. Then RCR.

I also like the HPD pipe,,,,really makes a big differance along with a clutch kit.......
Something else that everyone seems to forget as far as bang for the buck is simply dropping down to 20 inch tire in the rear as far as bottom end goes and I really did not notice much differance in top end speed but then I'm not really too worried about that for the type of riding I do....
Good luck and have fun......

I have pics of both but i need a scanner to load them . I will be getting some pics on disk sometime within the next week or so. So when i do get them downloaded i will tell you. As for the Trailblazer, cosmeticly everything is stock. I put all the money in engine mods. That will be the summer project for 2003.

You might want to try just the clutch kit first without the pipe. I put the whole kit on my wife’s TB and she rode it this summer but she wanted it quieter for riding around the neighborhood so I removed only the pipe and it was interesting that the power didn’t change that much. You can always add the pipe later. Just letting the two stroke wined up made most of the power. by the way, I got the kit from Ritter. It was the HPD pipe.

YEP!!! That was me. $36,000 in surgery, hospital, emergency, and therapy bills. 3 months off work. Physically Im doing great. So to everyone that has been to some familliar trails a million times, that familliarity can change overnight. Get familliar with the trails everytime you go and then ride hard. BELIEVE ME I KNOW!!! Oh and allways, allways wear your helmet. I do!! Otherwise you might not even have the chance to even limp away from your accident.
