Default Small Predator Quirk !!

I absolutely love my predator. Handles great , Suspension is awesome and the power rules. Just wanted to know what the rest of you predator riders think. The only the I found I didn't like was the gear shifter was too far up.(Had to lift my whole leg to shift fast) I fixed that, I took off my shifter lever and bent it down about 3/4" --Perfect now. Also mine seems to be real hard to get into neutral. Anyone else have this problem? just looking for some good info. Don't care about the drag racing crap (overall preformance)

Yeah, mine is hard to get into neutral and the 1-2 shift is one I miss alot due to the funky shifter location, have not fixed that one yet. Did fix the stalling in water problem though, moved the carb vent tubes up high.

They are finicky going into neutral, but maybe that will change in time. The shifter location is perfect with mx boots on....safer riding that way too.

i was out riding and the dealer was there with the new predator, it was difficult to shift into neutral, but we all figured it was because tit was new and the tranny was tight. oh i thought the thing ran great. and we did some racing, it hung with the ds's well. when he let me ride it i thought the suspsion, was nice it seemed a lot like a ds in the whoops. good luck with the new machines. oh the one thing i didn't like was the rev limiter. the ds's came with those and they had to go,

See, others can come in here and not actually bash something that says Polaris, but say constructive things.

My bro in law said he had the same issue getting into neutral with his z400. Once it broke in, it was fine. I also like the shifter a little higher. Being new, I had a tendency to accidentally shift into a higher gear when going through rough terrain and wind up stalling. The location helped me out a lot with that.
