TB 250 vs. Wolverine 350
The TB would win in every aspect. With some cheap mods the TB will kill a wolverine. The TB has more ground clearance, articulation, lighter, and handles trails real well. My father inlaw has a wolverine. He uses his around the house. It is a good reliable atv but my TB (also reliable) when it was stock would tear up the wolverine. Nothing compares to a good old 2 stroke. Yes the TB is underpowered but can easily be woken up!!!

TB 250 vs. Wolverine 350
I do mean stock for stock the TB will win. Im saying that with some mods the TB will kill the wolverine and be one fun machine. The accelleration on a 2 stroke is much quicker. My TB with the mods that i have now will beat a Scrambler off the line and easily keep up. Not bad for a 250.

Unless you are running 28" tires on the TB, you won't come close to the ground clearance of the Wolverine. You are looking at about 6" on the TB (that sprocket hangs down quite a bit) and 8.7" on the Wolverine. The weight of the two is almost identical, the TB might even be a couple of pounds heavier. When I bought my Wolverine in 95, my buddy got a 400 Scrambler (2 stroke) and we did drag a few times. The belt drive and quick revs always let him get the holeshot, but he could never get more than a couple of bike lengths ahead of me,even in a 1/2 mile drag. Stock, I seriously doubt you could "kill" a Wolverine, yes, modded 2 strokes are pretty peppy, but you are still lugging about the same amount of weight. I didn't post this to bash any brand, just giving you some facts and personal experience. Good luck on your races.
