Predator review
#1
After finally getting to ride mine again. Here are some of the things that bug me about the bike. The shifting is not that great, I am used to a KTM 520 they shift great, and the front shocks are to harsh when its choppy,I did install a slip-on silencer didn't change that much maybe a whole system would help the bottom end a little I would rather have the bottom end than topend. Overall I think the bike is a blast to ride, but bring on the performance parts

DuneRocket, you say you are used to riding a KTM, wouldn't it be great to have a hydraulic clutch on the pred. like on the KTM's. Mabey someone will develop one for it in time. by the way, what is your opinion on the seat and it's comfort? later....

Hey scramfused,, there is a hydraulic clutch available already threw the rathracing.com website. They have a few other toys for the predator that I saw also. Looks like slowly but surely the aftermarket parts for the predator are arriving. I cant wait til I get my 630 big bore kit for my TLD predator that I ordered from esuperbikeshop.com, should be here by Jan. 10th I'm told. Not like the predator need's more cc's but a couple more cc's never killed anyone did it?

Big bore sounds good to me what kind of price are they getting for the kit?ScramfusED the seat is a little soft for me but it's ok. I think you can get a hydo clutch from Whit Bros. The clutch on my Predator is easier than my KTM hydro clutch so I don't think spending the money is worth it unless put a heavier clutch in.

I did change the preload a little, but it still was a bit harsh. I know it is stock stuff so I can't expect to much. I plan on revalving the suspension first if that does not help much, then change it all out to something else.
